watercolor nails!
i’ve done this a few times before, but this is the first with these colors! i used julep “kate” which is a white polish as the base. then i used opi “quarter of a cent cherry” (the red), zoya “shelby” (the pink) and opi “honk if you love opi” (the purple). i think it turned out pretty cool looking
julep “kate” and china glaze “ride the waves”
excuse the air bubbles in the ring finger. that is the reason this manicure didn’t last too long! but i wanted to post anyways. this was the polish i wore on labor day, since the saying goes that you shouldn’t wear white after labor day. so i figured i would wear white on labor day and get my fill in. this is 2 coats of julep kate, the white, and then 3 coats of ride the waves, the blue. and it was a lot of fun to wear!
now for my current manicure!
i’ve been way into white nail polish for a while now but when i did a fresh manicure i wasn’t feeling the white today. i don’t know why. since i’ve been living in white nail polish for the last few weeks. but i didn’t want to take off the polish completely so i picked a glitter to add a little more color.
this is sally hansen insta dri “whirlwind white” with sinful colors “hottie” over top
reminds me of the sky for some reason, and maybe its because it was so hard to get an even application of the glitter
i’m so sorry i’ve been absent for so long! its been freaking crazy in my life … i went to new york for a few days, then went directly down to north carolina in the smokey mountains for some hiking for about a week, then came back to cleveland and moved downtown to the warehouse district, it was my birthday, and then i started law school!!
crazy crazy few weeks! but i figured i’d post one interesting picture from the last few weeks. when i was in new york i was at the grocery store and found this in the icecream section … i was freaking ID’ed for this!
Wine Icecream!!! it really did taste like wine!! unfortunately i did not get any sort of buzzed but i did get a cool experience
