opi “man with the golden gun”
i’m finally posting this! omg this polish is freaking stunning!! this is over opi “mrs oleary’s bbq” and it looks so rich and luxurious! i’ve worn this several times since this manicure and i really can’t get enough of it!
opi “lincoln park after dark”
one of my favorite polishes of all time. this is one of the few polishes that i’ve ever used an entire bottle of and had to repurchase! love it! its basically black but looks phenomenal on everyone. this is 2 coats!
opi “vodka and caviar” and julep loose black glitter
i painted my nails with vodka and caviar, one of my favorite reds of all time, and then dipped the tips into a pot of loose black glitter. once i added a top coat, it kind of turned the glitter into a matte glitter. i loved the way it looked! kind of creepy and dirty but i loved it
julep “alma” and opi “ski teal we drop”
i freaking love mustard yellow in the fall. i wish i owned more mustard clothing, but wearing it on my nails is something that always cheers me up! alma is the mustard color, and this is 2 coats. then i had to do an accent of teal because i think the colors look great together. this is 2 coats of ski teal we drop on the accent nail. i love this combo for fall!
Julep “Kate” for the white, Zoya “Raven” for the black, and OPI “Vodka and Caviar” for the red. I painted my nails white and then took the black and wiped off as much as I could off the brush, then lighting ran it over the tips of the nails and the sides. Then on the ring finger, I did the same thing but did it in the shape of a man. Then wiped off the brush of the red polish and used the side to dot the eyes and do blood accents around the nails. what do you guys think??
opi “ski teal we drop”
i can’t believe that i didn’t own this polish until this fall! it came out 3 fall collections ago in the swiss collection and i am in awe that i didn’t jump on this right away. its so nice! the perfect dark teal that still looks like teal in every light. opaque in 2 coats and the formula was spot on. perfect polish for fall!
and because i can never leave a manicure alone, i made 2 of the nails glitter gradients and covered it with a jelly polish!
opi “mrs oleary’s bbq” with china glaze “electrify” as the glitter and zoya “paloma” as the jelly over the glitter
love it! it looked like fire!
opi “mrs oleary’s bbq”
definitely one of my favorite polishes for fall! its the perfect color of bbq sauce! and a nerdy note: the reason i bought this polish is 100% because of the name. this came out in the chicago collection and mrs oleary is the person responsible for the great chicago fire. what a freaking sadistic name!
i’ve done this a few times before, but this is the first with these colors! i used julep “kate” which is a white polish as the base. then i used opi “quarter of a cent cherry” (the red), zoya “shelby” (the pink) and opi “honk if you love opi” (the purple). i think it turned out pretty cool looking
julep “charlotte” with opi “pirouette my whistle”
since i’ve worn both of these polishes recently and thought they would look so cool together. they look so pretty and girly and danty together. i think pirouette my whistle just makes any polish look so feminine. i love it and this is 1 coat of charlotte and 2 coats of the opi
pop beauty “foggy” with opi “pirouette my whistle”
i freaking love pirouette my whistle! its a white chunky glitter with silver microglitter in a clear base! a little sheer tho. this is 2 coats and i wanted to try it over grey first.
opi “quarter of a cent cherry”
there is something about a nice red creme! it definitely makes you feel very sexy. this red is great! the formula is a little watery but it is opaque in 2 coats! such an easy sex red polish and a part of the permanent line so you can still get it
opi “rumples wiggin”
i’m not the biggest fan of lavender polishes but this one was really pretty. i really liked wearing it and its the perfect spring color. but the formula really sucked! super watery and thin. oh well, better than applying tar to my nails
opi “fiercely fiona”
ok this is my last polish spam! i’m almost caught up to sharing my manicures on here! i didn’t realize just how much i loved chartreuse polish! i love the yellowy green but what i don’t love is how awful the formula was. 4 coats, totally watery and runny and took a long time to dry.
so i had to make it a jelly sandwich!!
2 coats of opi “here today … aragon tomorrow” and then i layered 1 coat of sephora by opi “flurry up” (which is a silver chunky glitter) and then layered 1 coat of the opi dark green again. and the result … a murkey dark green with bright green glitter! very deborah lippmann-esque and i loved it!
