i was waaaayyy into the whole glitter french thing back in early october and early november so this swatch is waaay late! sorry guys, i thought i had posted this.  maybe i did and this is just a repeat post.  oh well! i didn’t love this one as much as others but it was still kinda cute

orly “rage” and essie “a cut above”

i know i just posted a manicure similar to this, but i absolutely loved the rose gold tin foil look.  this is 2 coats of rage and 1 coat of a cut above, and its one of my favorite manicures! i love foils with a glitter over top because it really looks like tin foil on your nails

orly “rage” with spoiled “jewelry heist”

i had to top rage with a rose gold glitter to really make it look like i had molten metal on my fingers, or like a rose gold disco ball.  jewelry heist is a rose gold chunky glitter, with yellow green chunky glitter pieces and blue microglitter in there as well. its super sheer tho! this is 2 coats of the glitter

opi “vodka and caviar” and julep loose black glitter

i painted my nails with vodka and caviar, one of my favorite reds of all time, and then dipped the tips into a pot of loose black glitter.  once i added a top coat, it kind of turned the glitter into a matte glitter.  i loved the way it looked! kind of creepy and dirty but i loved it

zoya “sofia” with sally hansen “hidden treasure” on the tips

i fell in love with glitter frenches recently! this kind of started the trend for me.  this is 2 coats of sofia, which is an awesome raspberry creme shade.  then i added the flakie polish to the tips.  i loved this manicure!

jelly sandwich with zoya “katherine”

this was my favorite jelly sandwich! i think maybe my favorite i ever made! this is a million layers of polish tho.  4 layers of zoya “katherine”, 1 of china glaze “electrify”, 1 of sephora by opi “traffic stopper copper” and then 2 more of “katherine”.  next time i use this, i’m gonna have to start with an opaque purple as my base.  but this is like a fall night in manicure form! i love it

icing “hey sailor boy”

i picked this polish up because it reminded me SO MUCH of deborah lippmann’s “across the universe”! it isn’t an exact dupe, its a little bit brighter blue and across the universe is a little more navy, buts close! this is 2 coats.

china glaze “its alive”

ok last halloween polish, until maybe tomorrow! its alive is a olive green glitter and one of my favorites of all time.  i absolutely love it! the base is a blackened olive green, no brown in there at all, and then theres olive green glitters.  opaque in 2 coats and seriously stunning.

revlon “sparkle aplenty”

when i first got this i thought it wasn’t that unique.  it looks like opi’s metallic 4 life.  but once i applied it its so unique! its a dark charcoal jelly base with MATTE silver and black chunky glitter and silver microglitter.  omg matte glitter? and matte black glitter?? so unique! this is 2 coats.  i’ve tried layering it but its way to opaque to be layered, which sucks because i wish the black pieces came out more

have you ever seen a more perfect halloween polish? black jelly base with chunky orange glitter and silver microglitter? yeah perfect! i’ve worn this twice in the last few weeks and i’m in love.  this is 2 coats.

julep glitter pot

ive never tried a glitter pot before.  basically, its a pot of loose glitter and after you paint a coat of polish you dip your wet polished nail into the pot or sprinkle the loose glitter over top.  the glitter gets stuck in the wet polish and you get this opaque glitter manicure! perfect for halloween

hare polish “midsummers midnight”

sorry i’ve been MIA lately! i’ve had the worst week and its still not ending.  i should be working on law review stuff but definitely not feeling that right now.  so i figured i would give you guys a little bit of a nail spam from the last week!

hare polish “dog day dream”

i know i have been posting a lot of hare polish lately but i seriously love this brand.  all the polishes have the best formula.  this is a raspberry jelly polish with pink and red hexagonal glitter and purple square glitter.  amazing polish! if you can grab it off llarowe its so worth it

hare polish “asteroid turf”

i’ve talked about hare polish a ton before! nikole got her start here on tumblr! shes not really on tumblr anymore, but all over facebook.  she has the best nails and totally transitioned into the indie polish world.  her polishes are so popular that shes on llarowe now.  anyways, this is 2 coats and pure magic! an amazing green and i wish i had this last spring
