zoya “sofia” with sally hansen “hidden treasure” on the tips
i fell in love with glitter frenches recently! this kind of started the trend for me. this is 2 coats of sofia, which is an awesome raspberry creme shade. then i added the flakie polish to the tips. i loved this manicure!
butter london “knees up” with icing “shredded” on top
i did this manicure so i could test out shredded. its a black flakie with sparse silver glitter! have you ever seen a black flakie?? i haven’t! the edges of the flakes don’t lay completely flat on the nail and the pieces tended to clump together, but this is one coat! i think its perfect for the fall and halloween
julep “hayden” with sally hansen “hidden treasure”
i needed to do a flakie attack for you guys! i seriously love the traditional flakie polishes, like the ones that change from orange to yellow to red to green, over any type of warm toned polish. flakies over orange and pink are sooo freaking pretty and i’m definitely obsessed at the moment
freaking love flakies!!
zoya “shelby” with sally hansen “hidden treasure” over top
this seriously was the coolest combo. i love flakies over pinks because it gives them the perfect orange flash!
i have a few flakies but this is my first blue flakie. i got it a few months ago and i’m ashamed that its taken me this long to try it. its really really fun! this is one coat over a navy and i can’t wait to try it out on a light blue
zoya “perrie” and opi “i lily love you”
i freaking love perrie, its one of best polishes i’ve bought in a while. it can be a one coater. then i wanted to try it out with a flakie that i haven’t worn in like a year. together, it was such a fun girly manicure!
julep “penelope” and sally hansen “glass slipper”
since i’m not the biggest fan of penelope, i had to top it off with one i love. glass slipper is a silver flakie polish that is so densely packed and easy to deal with. i love this polish and is definitely one that everyone needs to own (especially since its so cheap!)
