very pretty greige! definitely a true grey, biege, nude, taupe.  that chic color that was so popular a few years ago.  2 coats and the perfect work color.

jelly sandwich with zoya “katherine”

this was my favorite jelly sandwich! i think maybe my favorite i ever made! this is a million layers of polish tho.  4 layers of zoya “katherine”, 1 of china glaze “electrify”, 1 of sephora by opi “traffic stopper copper” and then 2 more of “katherine”.  next time i use this, i’m gonna have to start with an opaque purple as my base.  but this is like a fall night in manicure form! i love it

i freaking love jelly polishes and this is my last polish from my zoya gloss collection.  this one was the hardest to work with tho.  this is 4 coats and i still couldn’t get the color eve.  its really pretty and i’m about to post a jelly sandwich next that i made with this!

hare polish “supernova springs”

hey guys if you like hare polish, its going on sale on her etsy page in about 10 minutes! this is another one of my hare polishes and i’m so excited to get more! this is 3 coats and such a pretty black jelly with green glitter

icing “hey sailor boy”

i picked this polish up because it reminded me SO MUCH of deborah lippmann’s “across the universe”! it isn’t an exact dupe, its a little bit brighter blue and across the universe is a little more navy, buts close! this is 2 coats.

china glaze “its alive”

ok last halloween polish, until maybe tomorrow! its alive is a olive green glitter and one of my favorites of all time.  i absolutely love it! the base is a blackened olive green, no brown in there at all, and then theres olive green glitters.  opaque in 2 coats and seriously stunning.

china glaze “zombie zest”

one of my FAVORITE polishes of all time! definitely an amazing polish and the fact that it looks like brown green rotting shiny glittery flesh is amazing! it is a little sheer tho, this is 3 coats.

tombstone nails! i wanted to try out a ruffian manicure but still make it halloween-y!

polishes used for this were julep “emilie” which is the green in the background near the cuticles, h&m “miss stone heart” for the grey tombstones, zoya “raven” for the black aging on all the tombstones and the R.I.P. then julep “leah” for the grass near the base of the tombstone.  not my best work but still halloween appropriate!

black flame candle nails! i was watching hocus pocus when i had to do a witches nail art challenge.  so i picked the black flame candle from the movie, and coincidentally i’m watching the movie again right now!

i started with a base of zoya “raven” which is just a black with a slight silver sheen.  then i put a thick messy french of julep “lisa” and used a safety pin to drag down little pin point lines.  the result looks like flames! because the black peaks through and only little lines extend upwards.  i put on accents of zoya “jancyn” which is an orange, to make to more flame like. what do y’all think??

zombie nails!!

polishes used for this were color club “high society” for the beige, julep “jessica” for the light blue and china glaze “zombie zest” for the green.  i sponged the blue and green all around the beige to make it look like dead flesh.  then i used a tooth pick and sephora by opi “i’m with brad” to make the dried blood drops.  i loved this!

ghost/demon manicure!

polishes used:

Julep “Kate” for the white, Zoya “Raven” for the black, and OPI “Vodka and Caviar” for the red.  I painted my nails white and then took the black and wiped off as much as I could off the brush, then lighting ran it over the tips of the nails and the sides.  Then on the ring finger, I did the same thing but did it in the shape of a man.  Then wiped off the brush of the red polish and used the side to dot the eyes and do blood accents around the nails.  what do you guys think??

candy corn gradient manicure!

i used julep “kate” for the white, zoya “jancyn” for the orange, and zoya “creamy” for the yellow! i used a makeup sponge and sponged on the orange and yellow after the white was dry!

revlon “sparkle aplenty”

when i first got this i thought it wasn’t that unique.  it looks like opi’s metallic 4 life.  but once i applied it its so unique! its a dark charcoal jelly base with MATTE silver and black chunky glitter and silver microglitter.  omg matte glitter? and matte black glitter?? so unique! this is 2 coats.  i’ve tried layering it but its way to opaque to be layered, which sucks because i wish the black pieces came out more

orly “r.i.p.”

have you ever seen a more perfect halloween polish? black jelly base with chunky orange glitter and silver microglitter? yeah perfect! i’ve worn this twice in the last few weeks and i’m in love.  this is 2 coats.

zoya “fei fei’

Ah-MAZE-ING!!!! seriously one of the most complex polishes ever! this is similar to the new opi one too so i didn’t end up getting that one but this is such a complex polish.  theres blue, gold, purple, nude, and pink flecks in there that make this granite looking ultra-shimmery polish.  this is 3 coats.
